How would you know Lauren is beautiful, smart, incredibly funny and a great catch? Just ask her. Having to compete for attention these days with tall, skinny, blonde, well-endowed women, she has her own assets to get her by. She tends to intimidate men by her wit and intelligence. But don’t try to dumb her down. She’ll surprise you when she recites all 54 state capitals.
Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, people could tell even as a kid that Lauren was headed for comedy when she would catch lizards, keep them in a pickle jar and name them after the Brady Bunch kids. So, after graduating from Arizona State University, she moved to Los Angeles. She figured she should put that Bachelor’s degree to use and do something she’s naturally good at-making people laugh. She figures if the stand up thing doesn’t work out she can always fall back on her true talent, a special tongue trick.
Lauren performs regularly throughout the southwest at different clubs, including the Improv, the Icehouse and the Comedy Store. She also performs in a huge charity event every year, Laughing for Charity. She’s produced and hosted two comedy shows nationally for GO TV Network. She just participated in the New York Comedy Contest and California’s Funniest Female Contest. She was also featured in “The Act”, a short film with Debra Jo Rupp as well as appearances on various cable shows through Adelphia and Time Warner Cable.
